Shelectricity Virtual Storytelling Salon
November 4th, 2 pm CT
Dear Friends and Community,
Join us on the afternoon of November 4th at 2 PM CT, for Shelectricity’s virtual storytelling salon featuring Anasa Troutman, founder and creative visionary of Shelectricity as we learn more about the role of stories in creating empathy in an increasingly divided world.
At Shelectricity, we know that the stories of girls and women of color need to be told and heard. As we work towards gender equity and racial healing, it's the power of these unique stories that are helping create a new vision for humanity to follow. This new vision reimagines culture as kind, inclusive, and equitable. Shelectricity's work is amplifying the imagination and creativity of girls and women of color using their stories to transform the ways we think, act, communicate, and make important decisions.
Love and regards,
The Shelectricity Team

Shelectricity is a digitally enabled ecosystem built to empower girls of color and genderqueer youth in the United States.
Designed with Black, Brown, Indigenous, Latinx, and AAPI girls as well as genderqueer young people at its center, Shelectricity is intended to scale over time to reach all girls and genderqueer youth in this country and across the world who are looking for safe and nurturing online and in-person experiences and relationships the help them learn, grow, innovate, and lead. Our unique integrated online and in-person model combines the broad reach of a social media app with the intimacy and safety of safely-curated, place-based programs. By bringing together the best of these worlds under one ecosystem, we believe that SheLectricity can transform the lives of girls and youth at scale.
